Our Story

At Black Sheep Chimney Sweep, our journey wasn’t exactly what we had imagined growing up, but it’s one that feels like it was meant to be. My husband Hunter and I (Brooke) have been together since we were 16. From the beginning, we shared a dream of owning our own business, even though we didn’t know exactly what that business would look like. What we did know was that we wanted to do something that felt useful—something that people needed. Always asking ourselves “Would we want to buy this?’’

Like many young couples, we explored different paths, but selling things people didn’t need never felt right for us. We wanted to work in an industry where we could be genuinely useful. And while we didn’t grow up imagining we’d become chimney sweeps, the opportunity came into our lives almost by chance, and it felt like the perfect fit.
